What Makes me not Cool Many of us do not know what it was like to be one of the cool kids in school, and many of us spend our whole lives trying to achieve the popularity we did not have back in school. To do this they will spend all their money on material possessions to try to become more popular, instead of just being themselves. Cars, a fast sports car is the most common thing people buy to make them selves more cool. Most people do not go out and investigate the car that has the least amount of reported problems or is the most fuel efficient car they want a car that looks, fast and intimidating. Wardrobe: People also thing that the way they dress will make them seem cool to others, so they spend thousands of dollars every few months buying the latest fashions in hopes that others will think they are cool because they are on the cutting edge of fashion. Music: many people will find out what music is being played at the most popular clubs and drive around blasting it from their cars to make people think they are cool because they listen to the same music that is played in all the hot clubs. Online and Casino Gambling: gambling has become a very popular thing in recent years and with Poker shows popping up on all the TV channels, many people think it is cool to go to the casinos dressed up like famous poker players, including vests with patches from sponsors. As un-cool as dressing like a professional poker player may be playing casino games like Craps, Poker and Blackjack may be cool, games like Sic Bo, Keno and slot machines are not cool unless you hit a Multi Million Dollar jackpot. Jewelry, also known as Bling is often used as a status symbol and the general rule has become the bigger, more expensive and uglier the jewelry is the cooler the wearer has to be. This has led to some people going out wearing thousands of dollars r the ugliest looking pieces. Physical Fitness: in recent years many people have decided that if you want to look cool you have to belong to a gym, the people in the gym that are there just to look cool are always easy to spot. They are usually found sitting at the juice bar or in the hot tub. If they do ever actually do any type of workout it is usually ridding a bike for 5 minutes and before they even break a sweat they have to stop. Being cool is not about what you have or listen to. Being cool is all about who you are. In school being cool was all about being popular, but what most adults see as cool is more about who you are, and doing what you want to do and not what everyone else does. Those who are considered to be cool are usually leaders and not followers. Being cool is not about wanting to be cool, being cool is about not caring what other people think and living life to its fullest, and in doing this you will find others with the same interests and these people will think of you as cool. So I guess the key to being cool is just to make friends with people who enjoy the same things you enjoy and in doing so you will find that as your self image increases your need to be cool decreases, and then you will be cool. Bristol Palin on Breakup with Levi Johnston: 'I'm Not Disappointed'
Bristol Palin said she's over Levi Johnston and dished about her "Dancing with the Stars" rehearsals on Friday's "Tonight Show."
Asked by Jay Leno how she feels about the breakup with her baby's papa, Bristol said, "I'm not disappointed. I'm not heartbroken."
"I tried to make it work for my son. It didn't work, and I realized that we're not meant to be, and I'm just focused on being a good mom," said Bristol, whose son with Levi -- Tripp -- was backstage.
Paris Hilton Burglary Suspect Pleads Not Guilty
A man charged with attempted felony burglary on Paris Hilton's L.A. home last week has pleaded not guilty.
Nathan Lee Parada entered his plea on Friday and remains behind bars, with his bail set at $50,000, the Associated Press says. He's expected back in court on Sept. 15 for a preliminary hearing.
Parada was arrested the morning of August 24 following the alleged break-in attempt on Hilton's home. The hotel heiress tweeted about the incident, writing, "So scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes."
Jennifer Grey on How 'Dancing with the Stars' Saved Her Life
Jennifer Grey is opening up about how "Dancing with the Stars" led to the discovery that she had cancer and saved her from a potentially devastating spinal injury.
ET confirms a report in which Jennifer says it was only after she was approached to do "DWTS" that she finally went to a surgeon about her nagging neck pain.
According to Jennifer, a spinal surgeon learned that a car accident Jennifer had years back had ripped ligaments in her neck and had degenerated. The doctor told the iconic 'Dirty Dancing' actress that she was one car accident or one fall away from being paralyzed. Jennifer soon underwent surgery to correct the compressed nerves in her neck, and says she feels great today.
Michael Douglas' Cancer Battle Update
There's lots of buzz on Michael Douglas today ever since his brave appearance on "Late Show with David Letterman" this week, from fans wishing him well to doctors talking about his prognosis.
Michael is continuing his chemotherapy and radiation treatments for the tumor in his throat. Dr. Travis Stork of "The Doctors" is not treating the 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' star, but he says Michael has another important weapon in beating his stage four cancer.
"Positive attitude plays such a huge role in recovery," Dr. Stork tells ET. "We see it with all of our patients, particularly with cancer, because you can let it get you down or, like Michael Douglas is doing, you can say, 'Look, we're going to attack this.' If you have a positive outlook you're going to do better."
New Pic: Jennifer Aniston Spotted Out with 'Cougar Town' Hunk
Jennifer Aniston, who's set to guest star on "Cougar Town," was snapped taking a car ride with the show's Josh Hopkins on Thursday night.
Aniston is reuniting with her former "Friends" costar Courteney Cox on the small screen for the season-two premiere of "Cougar Town" later this month. She'll play Jules' (Cox) therapist, Bonnie, who gets too involved in her client's life.
Meanwhile, Josh plays Jules' single and minglin' neighbor, Grayson Ellis.
Chris Klein Enters Plea in DUI Case
ET has learned that Chris Klein appeared in a California court today and entered a plea in his DUI case.
Klein pleaded no contest to DUI and is required to complete four years of probation, 96 hours of jail time (which he has completed) and 18 months in an alcohol program.
The star was arrested for his second DUI back in June and checked himself into rehab soon after.
