Feeling and dressing like a princess It is not only blue diamonds that makes a woman feel like a Queen, opal jewelry also seems to produce the same effect. Opal comes in rich and vibrant colors of blues, greens and purples. Opal silver jewelry comes in several forms and fashions. Jewelry designers made bracelets, pedants, earrings and torques with silver pendant jewelry. Because of the natural brilliance and bright colors of the stone, it works best when paired with silver. Silver opal jewelry is the perfect gift for all women. Jewelry is hard to resist for most women, but the opulence and natural beauty of this stone makes it even harder for any woman to resist it. It is especially valuable to women born in October as opal is the birthstone for the month. Opal gemstone earrings are available in every imaginable color from white through yellow, orange, green, blue, red and black. In some cases, a single opal stone displays the entire range of colors, making it look something like a rainbow. Opal gemstone earrings are not very hard and therefore the stone needs to be treated with care. Although it took millions of years for the stone to form under extremely harsh conditions, the stone is not very hard. It contains about six to 10 per cent water. The majority of silver opal jewelry is produced in Australia and this is because the material is found in abundance there. More than 95 per cent of the world production of opal comes from Australia.
